When my hair is tidy, mum's happy

9.12.24

I have inherited unruly hair, or more correctly, I don't bother about my hair and it usually looks a mess.

The first thing mum notices when I walk into her room (if she's awake) is my hair. Sometimes she tells me it needs brushing, but usually she communicates by pretending to hold a hairbrush and making 'stroking hair' movements in the air, all the while with a concerned look on her face.

To please her I grab the brush from the bathroom. And to double please her, I hand it to her and lower my head onto her lap. Now she has complete control of my mop and is delighted to transform me it into a 'presentable young woman'.

This time Gil was around, so he filmed us, and then it was his turn to be groomed :-)
