Thank you Thank you Thank you. I’m so happy I’m so happy I'm so happy for you …
That mum is the ripe old age of 100 is momentous. But what's more remarkable is that her positive spirit still soars.
What more can one wish for at the end of one's life than to be full of gratitude for every little thing.
This is mum.
It makes no difference if her once big life has shrunken into a little room in an Aged Care Home. She still oozes love.
I walk into her room and there she is lying on her recliner, a wide, toothless smile appearing on her face. She reaches for my hand, and greets me, 'It's so beautiful that you came, thank you, thank you, thank you'. These days she doesn't talk much but those words flow out easily.
Marysia's essence - pure love and thank yous stand strong even when the rest of her grows weak and frail.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. I’m so happy I’m so happy I'm so happy ❤️
